Questions and answers

Question - How many domains can I host on one server?
Answer - Our fully managed servers will support more then 1000 domain names.

Question - How much traffic can one server handle?
Answer - That depends on the actual use of the machine. If you are using the machine for simple html and graphics, it will be able to do many MB/second. Several of our customers are at the 10 MB/second on their servers. If you are running CGI intensive web sites, your performance will vary depending on your code writing ability.

Question - Will you register my domain name for me?
Answer - Yes! Our customers receive preferred treatment when it comes to domain name registration. We are our own registrar and our server customers get their domain name at the wholesale price. You can register your domain names here.

Question - What is the time commitment?
Answer - Your server is leased on a month to month basis. You must be paid one month in advance and if you cancel 30 days notice in writing is required.

Question - Do you allow UCE?(unsolicited commercial email)
Answer - No! If you are found to be sending UCE from your server, your account with us will be immediately terminated. You will not receive a refund, and will receive an additional bill from us for the cost of processing whatever mess you made with it.

Question - My web site is adult related, is that ok?
Answer - Yes, we do not censor or monitor the content of your server in any way. As long as your server has content that is legal in the United States, it is ok. Any customer found to have illegal contents will be reported to the proper United States authority.

Question - I am from another country, and my site is to controversial for hosting in my country. Will you report me to the authorities in my country?
Answer - No! We are located in the United States and fully support freedom of speech. As long as your web site is legal in the United States we don't care what is on your server.

Question - How long does it take to get set up?
Answer - Banana Servers come fresh off the assembly line, loaded and ready to run usually within 24hrs.
